Why, hello there! It's been quite some time, and much has changed since I set out to create this blog...an endeavour, I'm afraid, to which I failed to devote adequate time and attention. But nevertheless, I am returned and hoping to succeed henceforth! While I don't realistically anticipate making longer, more in-depth posts here on a very consistent basis (I know my own hindrances too well to entertain the notion), I thought miniature updates might suffice to chronicle my experiences both notable and more mundane. There shall still be longer-form content from time to time, simply less of it, I suspect.

So to begin, I suppose these collages I've recently created on the Shuffles app might be of interest to some. The magnificent thing about Shuffles is that it allows seamless access to images one has saved on Pinterest, and as I've saved countless aesthetically pleasing and historically relevant objects on my account, it's delightful to be able to use them in a creative capacity. My mind is already teeming with endless possibilities; it's so exciting to add pieces of historic embroidery or other material culture to an imagined tableau, or simply toss bits and bobs together in a hodgepodge. Here are a few of my recent creations.
